Carnegie Mellon's new Sports Technology course, taught by Priya Narasimhan, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, lets students improve their favorite sports using technology. The 15 week project course was launched in the fall of 2009, and gives students experience in designing realistic and practical embedded and mobile systems, as well as other applications that can enhance the training, coaching, playing and viewing of various sports.
