The number of patients of panic, anxiety and depression is constantly on the rise in America.
Treating a panic is extremely important for its consequences can be fatal.initially when i first started getting panic attacks, i did know any of the ways for treating them as i did not know what exactly is happening.
Sometimes i used to feel that i am having cardiac problems because my heart began to pound so badly (later after vigorous research i got to know that the symptoms of heart attack and panic attacks are similar).
Then i thought may be i am going to go mad and sometimes i badly feared death. With a lot of research i found out that i am having these panic. (actually when i used to go to the doctor i could not properly explain things and my physical condition was perfect so that is why it took so long in my diagnosis).
The treatment of these attacks also started during an incident in the world war. Some of the soldiers were having fear of water in the sea battles as ground troops were deployed in the sea due to shortages.
The soldiers were struck with a panic attack and the whole military exercise had to be halted. The doctors and scientists worked on these panic and therefore the first remedies were prepared for the treating those attacks.
Treating panic is always done best by employing the therapy methods. The numbers of people who have eradicated panic attacks from their lives have mostly used the physiological method. Drugs are never that good when complete prevention of panic attacks is concerned. Drugs create a temporary rectification of nerve receptors and concerned hormones. On the other hand, therapy targets at changing the way a person acts during these attacks.
These treatment procedures were mainly considering immediate recovery. Most of these drugs did not prove to be that successful and were discarded. Research began after the world war with full throttle and gave some of the most initial and the finest methods for treating panic.
Therefore, they go a long way in completely getting rid of these panic once for all. Cost of procedures which are used for treating panic attacks vary largely in their prices and related side effects. Drugs usually are the most expensive ones with the weekly expenditure of almost 30 dollars.
More work is currently underway in this field and its only time when we will have separate specialists for panic attacks. Treating a panic should be the first priority when faced with such a situation because if neglected it can turn really bad.
