I visited Oradour sur Glane on August 07. The present day photos are those of the ones I took during my visit.
On the 10th of June 1944 642 men women and children were murdered brutally by the Nazi regime. Woman and Children were drvien into the church where they were shot at and burned. The Men were herded into the barns and executed also. Only a few survivors can tell of the true extent of the horror.
